Mary Ann concentrates her practice on the defense of healthcare providers in professional liability matters. Her clients have included physicians, hospitals, substance abuse treatment facilities, health systems, universities, physician practice groups, and insurance companies. She has successfully tried medical malpractices cases to verdict as lead trial counsel in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery and Bucks Counties. In addition to her practice in Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, Mary Ann also has litigation experience in several other counties, including both Luzerne County and Lackawanna County. She routinely handles catastrophic and brain injury claims and has extensive experience mediating and arbitrating complex cases. She has made presentations at several hospitals on various topics. For over twenty years, Mary Ann has defended physicians in a variety of medical specialties, including obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, pediatrics, neurosurgery, cardiology, anesthesiology, genetics, radiology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, emergency medicine and cardiothoracic surgery.
